The kingdom of God is on Earth and in Heaven. God as the king of the universe is the fundamental force shaping my experience while on Earth. The promise and realization of the kingdom is that people will finally come to realize divine justice and peace is by being a citizen of the Kingdom of David.
Kingdom of God is the present and the future. It was celebrated in ancient Israel as the kingdom behind the life creation in heaven and on Earth. The Kingdom of David and its citizenry will be an insistent force of governance that will break the arm of the wicked and evil on Earth that is central to the religion of Israel as reflected in the biblical tradition. Being a citizen of the Kingdom of David is the recognition of God that will purify my ethical behaviour as a noble of peoples radiating from Zion.
