My name is Ekemin Bassey, I come from Ibesikpo Asitan LGA, Uyo, Akwa ibom state, Nigeria.
I am a graduate with a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Uyo.
I started my career as a part of the student Union government in University of Uyo, then got engaged in youth development through National Youth Council of Nigeria and the international youth President of the International Human right protection services, Florida USA, Country Representative; West Africa (ECOWAS) Youth Council – Chairman youth development committee, etc.

I also worked professionally as Logistics manager with HENSEK Integrated Services Ltd.

I worked with the immediate past state government as the Senior Special Assistance on project monitoring.

I am the founder and President of El Charis Initiative for Africa.
