My name is H.E. Dr. Edna Joyce (Fatima) Santos. I am an ophthalmologist by profession for the past 33 years and a medical doctor for almost 41 years. I have dedicated almost my whole life helping ease the physical, ophthalmic and mental diseases of my patients, as I am also a psychologist. I am a firm believer in alternative therapy as well in combination with traditional medicine using herbal supplements that have been proven effective for several centuries.
You might think that it must have been an easy climb for me having been recognized as an inspirational leader, human rights advocate, an environmentalist, a philanthropist, an empowered woman, author and biographer. I discovered my passion in writing at a very late stage and now I am a driven entrepreneur, helping startups and businesses gain market recognition and niches in this competitive world. I am also helping emerging economies and underdeveloped countries with socioeconomic development projects which will make their countries sustainable as well.
